Early European Settlers to NZ

Room 15 have been finding out about the Early Europeans who came to NZ. We read about the Whalers and Sealers, Missionaries, Settlers and Traders. We wrote scripts as if we were one of these people and recorded our scripts with our animations of the European ships arriving in NZ playing in the background. Mine is one of the ones that was finished and played on P.E.N.N. - our school news programme

  1. Hello, my name is Tiffany Clark from University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. I am majoring in special/elementary education with double minors of business and dance! This week, I was assigned to read your blog as part of my EDM 310 class, which is a micro-computing system class.
First of all, welcome to room 15!! I know you worked hard to get there!!
Secondly, I love your video when you had to pretend to be someone from that time. I remember doing that in 5th grade. I was Pocohontas. I had to give a report and march in a parade. It was fun! But I bet making a video was even more fun!! You did a FANTASTIC JOB on it!!
Finally, I would like to give some words of wisdom! Keep up the good work and never give up! Always follow your dreams and let your heart guide you to your goal!! Great Job and Good Luck!!

  2. Hi Tiffany,
Thanks for the comment. It was really fun having to be a character from back in the days. Have you got any photos of you when you when you were Pocohontis? Thank you also for the words of wisdom.
